My weekend at Alingsås

Hi everyone!♡

I had an awesome weekend in Alingsås at a horrorfestival that showed horrormovies and sold lots of movies. The best part of it was that I got to spend it with Jasmine!

This was the movie theatre that showed the movies and that we lived in.

The director Jonas Wolcher introduced his movie Cannibal Fog before the screening.

The two movies that were shown on friday, a short film Harvest and the feature film Cannibal Fog.

The movies that were shown on saturday were:
♤ Yor - Hunter from the future
♤ The Cynic, The Rat and the Fist
♤ Zombie Holocaust
♤ House on the edge of the Park
♤ Four flies on grey velvet

Love of my life ♡

I bought 16 movies and 1 season of a series. I found so many great movies and some that I had not watched yet, so I was very pleased with what I found.

Awesome new friends that I met. Me and Jasmine will definitely be back for the next one! Thanks everyone! ♡

Serial mom

Hi everyone!

"Serial mom is filled with dark humor and the story takes some unexpected turns"

Serial mom: A sweet mother takes a little too much at heart for the defence of her family.

Serial mom is filled with dark humor and the story takes some unexpected turns. Kathleen Turner's character is so crazy and unbelievable. The court scenes are probably my favorite in the entire film and the ending is great. The prank calls are very funny and serial mom takes things too far, but in a funny way.

Girlhouse

Hi everyone!

"This may not be the most original slasher in modern horror, but it was fun"

Girlhouse: A HALLOWEEN-style slasher for the digital age, it follows a beautiful young college student who, needing money for tuition, moves into a house that streams content to an X-rated website. After a deranged fan hacks in to determine the house's location, she finds herself in a terrifying fight for her life.

I was very introgued by the plot of Girlhouse and thought it could be a good slasherfilm. It was surprising to see Nicole, the America's next top model season 13 star in this film, but it was a pleasent surprise.

This may not be the most original slasher in modern horror, but it was fun and I liked the suspense and the gore scenes. With a little more original take on the script, this movie would have gotten an even higher svore, but you do not want to miss girlhouse.

Muck

Hi everyone!

"Muck offers nothing new to the genre"

MuckAfter narrowly escaping an ancient burial ground, a group of friends find themselves trapped between two evils, forcing them to fight, die, or go back the way they came.

Everything was pretty bad in this film, except for a few nice ass shots. Muck offers nothing new to the genre and the story and acting could have been improved upon. This film had lots of potential, but threw it all away. There are a few gore scenes, but a lot more fun details regarding deaths and gore scenes could have been made.

Jurassic World

Hi everyone!

"I really did not care about who died or survived"

Jurassic World: Twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. After 10 years of operation and visitor rates declining, in order to fulfill a corporate mandate, a new attraction is created to re-spark visitors' interest, which backfires horribly.

I used to watch the other Jurassic Park movies all the time when I was a kid, so I was so excited about watching Jurassic world. The older Jurassic Park movies where a bit darker, which I prefer, because this one feels too mainstream and a film for kids.

The deaths were not buildt up in a intense way and I really did not care about who died or survived, because the details for building characters and the moments leading up to someone dying where so much more suspensefull in the older films.

This one did have great effects and some good scenes with the velociraptors and t-rex's, but I had expected way more and I was a bit dissapointed.

Nightmare (2012)

Hi everyone!

The problem with Nightmare is that it is made out to be a slasherfilm, but a really boring one

Nightmare: Newlyweds Peppi and Sergey are celebrating their honeymoon at a ship, but their friends are going missing and soon Peppi is fighting for her life.

The last two films that I have seen has been Nightmare & Nightmare 2, two horrorfilms from Finland. The problem with Nightmare is that it is made out to be a slasherfilm, but a really boring one. The deaths are not creative at all and that mysterious and intriguing feeling that most slasherfilms have, is totally gone.
